Which credit cards does NFPA accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Can I pay by purchase order?
Yes. NFPA allows all orders placed on its Online Catalog to be paid by credit card, and now allows some domestic orders to be billed, subject to credit approval. Please see our payment policy for specific details regarding making payments using a P.O. or bill me request.
Can I pay my invoice online?

NFPA does not currently have a means to make payments for previously placed orders online. Please call Customer Support at +1 800 344-3555 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday EST.

Can I e-mail my order?

How much is shipping & handling?
For orders with shippable goods, NFPA will add a $9.95 handling fee to orders under $1000, or 2% of merchandise total for orders of $1000 or more. Additional charges for express shipping charges (if requested), and 7.00% sales tax (for California residents only.)* The NFPA online catalog does not have a way to calculate expedited shipping costs at this time. If you select US standard delivery, NFPA pays the shipping. For expedited (rush) orders, the warehouse calculates the most cost effective method to send your order. We charge you the exact cost to us. Your credit card is not charged until the items are shipped. You can place your order by phone at +1 800 344-3555 to get more information about the shipping costs for your order.

*Excludes Firewise® Communities Products: Shipping for Firewise items is free to any US address (domestic ground delivery only). International customers, please contact the Firewise program at +1 720 475-1931.

What if I have a problem with my order?
If you have a technical problem with your order, please submit your question online, or call the NFPA Customer Service at +1 800 344-3555. For international customers, the number is +1 617 770-3000. The toll-free customer service number for Mexico is 95-800-844-6058. Queries may be faxed to +1 508 895-8301 (International) or +1 800 593-NFPA (U.S. and Canada). The support line is staffed Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST.

How long will it take me to receive my order by mail?
Your order will take approximately 7-10 days in North America. Special shipping services may be arranged for the extra shipping charge. NFPA will work to get you the lowest rate possible. Does NFPA offer a member discount?
Yes; 10% will be deducted from the subtotal of your order if you are an NFPA member and login with your NFPA ID number or email address and the password for your profile.
