Improved search, order and registration process for NFPA codes and training programs
July 14, 2011 – The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has launched a new web user interface for its online catalog to simplify the search, and registration process for its seminars, webinars, online courses and order process for codes and standards.
“We are continuously researching ways to improve and streamline the online search, order and registration process for our products and services. Based on feedback from our customers, these latest changes give our site visitors and customers the flexibility to find any code, standard or training program based on the criteria most important to them,” said Andrea Hughes, NFPA marketing director.
When browsing for available NFPA training including seminars, webinars and self-guided online courses at NFPA.org or nfpatraining.org, site visitors now use a new toolbar on the left side of the screen to refine their search by any combination of the following criteria: type of training, topic, instructor, date, and location.
Changes to the nfpacatalog.org site also include the ability to find codes, standards and companion handbooks, by edition, more quickly and easily. When searching for a codebook or code handbook, the current edition is displayed, and a drop-down menu now provides links to past editions for fast access to all editions.
Changes can be viewed at nfpatraining.org, and nfpacatalog.org.
