Outreach and advocacy

School outreach

When it comes to spreading the word about fire safety, you don’t have to go it alone. Working in partnership, we can have a real impact on the fire problem. We’ve teamed up with like-minded organizations – and have a broad network of public education specialists – who are committed to helping you be successful.

Public Education

pub ed materialsIn addition to sponsoring Fire Prevention Week™ every October since 1922, NFPA offers the fire service a wide collection of campaigns, safety tip sheets, content, and outreach tools to engage audiences via special events, social media and community programs. Emergency responders are able to utilize seasonal information, educational materials, videos, messaging, and resources that have been created to inform at-risk audiences by visiting www.nfpa.org/public-education.
