The Georgia Board of Electrical Contractors states that electrical license holders Must complete 4 hours of continuing education. Exceptions include if initially licensed for one year or less, Continuing education hours are not required for first renewal. If initially licensed for less than two years, but more than one year, electrical license holder must have completed four hours of continuing education while licensed prior to initial renewal.
