"NFPA 25 is critical to the proper maintenance of the system. Statistics indicate that most sprinkler systems are very effective at suppressing or even extinguishing a fire with only one or two sprinklers being discharged. But if that system is not maintained, you will not meet those objectives. We use NFPA 25 at the State Department to make sure that our systems are going to work when we need them."
