NFPA 901: Standard Classifications for Incident Reporting and Fire Protection Data, 2006 Edition
| Description | Table of Contents |
Maximize the value of sharing fire department data.
NFPA 901 helps fire departments and other fire protection organizations effectively share data with other agencies. It provides a common language and definitions that define and describe:
- Pre-incident environments, such as fire defense features of a structure
- Fire and other emergency incidents
- Post-incident damage assessments
- Fire service data
This document also offers a classification system for data captured by automated databases. NFPA 901 does not provide a reporting system or related forms. The 2006 edition is modified for NFPA®'s Manual of Style. (Approx. 154 pp., 2006)
