2007 Changes to NFPA 72®, Module 1 Self Guided Online Course

This self-paced online course covers changes to NFPA 72® Chapter 1 - "Administration," Chapter 2 - "Referenced Publications," and Chapter 3 - "Definitions." The 2007 edition of NFPA 72: National Fire Alarm Code® has emerged in response to the heightened risk awareness and sophisticated technical advances to improve the role of alarm and signaling systems in protecting life and property.

Upon completion you should be able to:

• Explain what a mass notification system (MNS) is and how emergency warning equipment is used
• Clarify the unit of measure used in the code
• List the specific requirements needed for fire alarm system drawings
