The Firewise® Landscape Series DVD and Brochure Set was written by landscape architects and designers from across the country. This DVD features three parts:
- Part 1: Overview - landscaping design essentials (12 min.)
- Part 2: Design and Installation - how a well-planned landscape offers protection from wildfire (15 min.)
- Part 3: Maintenance - how to maintain your landscape in wildfire-prone areas (9 min.)
The Firewise Landscape Series also offers suggestions that will help you shape your landscape for the best effect as well as the best Firewise use of materials, stressing maintenance as the most important factor in keeping the Firewise landscape functioning as a fire resistive barrier, and offers maintenance tips and ideas.
Includes a package of Firewise Guide to Landscape and Construction Brochures to introduce landscaping to homeowners just starting out, as a refresher to landscaping, or as part of a Firewise Communities® Day event. (1 DVD, Package of 50 Brochures)
