This self-paced online course covers the life safety risks from fire and other hazards in health care occupancies and explores how codes and standards minimize the risk. - List and explain the two key pbjectives for life safety in health care occupancies established by NFPA 101®: Life Safety Code®
- Explain the "defend in place" strategy adopted by the Life Safety Code
- Describe how the vulnerable nature of health care occupants affects risk evaluation for health care occupancies
- Explain how the property characteristics of health care occupancies affects the risk they present
