NFPA 1906 specifies the minimum requirements for a new automotive wildland fire apparatus consisting of a vehicle equipped with at least a water pump, water tank, hose and equipment; whether designed to be integral with the chassis or as a slip-on fire fighting module mounted on the apparatus.
