NEW! NFPA has created a home fire inspection survey (PDF, 609 KB) for fire departments to use in the community. For more information on home inspections, NFPA 1452, Guide for Training Fire Service Personnel to Conduct Dwelling Fire Safety Surveys, helps fire departments establish a fire safety program for homes. It includes information on common home hazards, extinguishing equipment, life safety considerations, and the urban-wildland interface.
