NFPA supports fire protection, and the fire service and building professions through the following certification programs:

• Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)*
• Certified Fire Inspector I  (CFI)*
• Certified Fire Inspector II (CFI-II)*
• Certified Fire Plan Examiner I  (CFPE)*
