What does PYR 1128 address?
PYR 1128 provides a method of fire testing of flame breaks that are required by NFPA 1124. The method evaluates the temperature rise (thermal transmission) of the flame break and its ability to remain in place and to resist the passage of flame and hot gases and the penetration of fire through the flame break when subjected to a standard fire exposure.Table Of Contents.
