Regulations Special notice: In November 2010, the NFPA Board of Directors approved a comprehensive set of revisions to the NFPA Regulations Governing Committee Projects, the regulations that govern NFPA’s standards development process. The regulations are called "Regulations Governing the Development of NFPA Standards". These Regulations include changes to some familiar terms and adds some new terms, and are in effect for standards reporting in the Fall 2013 Revision Cycle and all subsequent revision cycles.
