Do you have a question about your order or one of our products or services? The information below will help you find the information you're searching for -- or put you in touch with one of our customer service representatives.

Services and Policies

NFPA Guarantee:  At NFPA, we take pride in the quality of our fire safety codes, standards, and training materials. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, just let us know within 30 days. We will provide a prompt replacement or refund.

Firewise Communities Products: Shipping for Firewise items is free to any US address (domestic ground delivery only). International customers, please contact the Firewise program at firewise@nfpa.org or 1-617-984-7486.

Registration Policy for Training Events: No one under the age of 18 is allowed to attend training seminars or conferences.

NFPA accepts credit card payments for all online purchases, and now allows requests to be billed on some orders.

  • Credit cards accepted: MasterCard, Discover, American Express, VISA
  • NFPA welcomes your Purchase Order for web, mail, fax, and phone orders. A copy of the Purchase Order is required for orders of $1,000 or more. Please see our Payment Policy for specific details.
  • Out of stock or not yet available items: NFPA will not charge you for an out of stock product, or product that is not yet available, until the item ships.
  • Prices valid through June 30, 2014..
  • Standard Delivery: In-stock items are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of your order.
  • Rush Delivery: NFPA can ship products via special delivery or priority mail. Specify the method, and we will invoice you for the cost.

Refunds or Cancellations: If you are requesting a refund or to cancel your order, your refund will be sent in the form you originally paid with. If you paid with check your refund will be in check format. If you paid with Credit Card, your refund will be applied to your credit card.

Tax for California residents: Final order will be calculated based on applicable local rates. Sales tax applies to total order plus handling charge. If tax exempt, please provide NFPA a copy of certificate.
