Fire Prevention Week

Planning and practicing a fire escape plan is crucial to your safety.
As part of The Great American Fire Drill, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is asking families, classrooms, and offices from across North America to videotape themselves planning and practicing their fire escape plans.
Then upload your video to NFPA's page on YouTube (choose “Post a video response” in the "Comments and Responses" area).
Be creative and have fun! Here's an escape grid (PDF, 634 KB) and some tips to help get you started.
We hope to see escape plans of all kinds. So get out your video camera and start taping today. See you on YouTube!
Note: Don't have a video camera? Today, many digital cameras have a "video" setting that will allow you to make a digital video. Film your video, plug your camera into your computer, and upload to NFPA's page on YouTube. It's that easy!
