Sparky's Safety Spots are brief safety messages delivered by Sparky the Fire Dog® that can help you increase the awareness of safety hazards in your community. NFPA provides this artwork to fire departments at no charge so long as they are used exclusively as educational tools. The Spots are intended for year round use and are designed as print public service announcements (PSAs) to be included in local newspapers.But don´t stop with your local newspapers. After you've asked news editors to provide space to run the Spots at no charge, try these other ideas as well:

Following are links to each of Sparky´s Safety Spots. Usually, right-clicking on the link and selecting "Save As", "Save Picture As", "Save Target As", or "Save Link As" will allow you to save the file locally on your computer. Make sure you remember where the file is being saved, so you can find it after downloading.
PDF images
The following "Sparky´s Safety Spots" files are in PDF* format. Download and print these files and use as camera-ready artwork.
High-resolution images
The following "Sparky´s Safety Spots" files are high-resolution, Illustrator EPS images. You can download and provide these files directly to your local newspaper or print shop. If you are using a PC, you will need Winzip software to download these files. If you don't already have the software, download it for free. If you are using a Macintosh, you will need Stuffit software to download these files. If you don't already have the software, download it for free. Note: Once downloaded, you will not be able to open these documents unless you have the Adobe Illustrator program on your computer.
