- Play the sound of the smoke alarm as the last sound. Ask children what is the sound? (a smoke alarm) What is the sound telling us? (there is smoke/fire) What should you do if the smoke alarm in your home sounds? (get outside, stay outside, go to your outside meeting place)

- Stop what you are doing – even if you are sleeping
- Get outside
- Go to your outside meeting place where you will meet your family
