Association Technical Meeting

The Association Technical Meeting will begin at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 12 and will continue on Thursday, June 13 with breaks as required. Only NFPA members of record as of December 14, 2012 who are currently in good standing are eligible to vote, and must have either a full conference registration or an Association Technical Meeting registration.
Under the rules now in effect, only Certified Amending Motions (with valid sign-in) and proper follow-up motions will be allowed for NFPA documents processed in the Fall 2012 and Annual 2013 Revision Cycles. The agenda for the meeting will be those Documents with Certified Amending Motions as indicated in the Report of the Motions Committee on Certified Amending Motions.

Reports of the Motions Committee
The Report of the Motions Committee on Certified Amending Motions for the Fall 2012 Revision Cycle was posted on November 2, 2012. This document addresses three Fall 2012 documents (NFPA 801, 1061, and 1851) with Certified Amending Motions that will be considered at the 2013 Association Technical Meeting, and identifies the list of Consent Documents that received no "Notice of Intent to Make a Motion" (NITMAM) or were forwarded directly to the Standards Council for issuance.
The Report of the Motions Committee on Certified Amending Motions for the Annual 2013 Revision Cycle was posted on May 3, 2013. This document addresses six Annual 2013 documents (NFPA 25, 58, 96, 130, 502, and 1123)with Certified Amending Motions that will be considered at the 2013 Association Technical Meeting. This report also addresses three documents with Certified Amending Motions from the Fall 2012 cycle (NFPA 801, 1061, and 1851) and identifies the list of Consent Documents and includes a list of NITMAMs that were not certified.
The Report of the Motions Committee on NFPA 70, National Electrical Code®, was posted on May 16, 2013. This document addresses Certified Amending Motions for consideration at the 2013 Association Technical Meeting. This report also includes a list of NITMAMs that were not certified on NFPA 70.
