The collection of tables by occupancy shows the estimated average number of fires, associated civilian deaths and civilian injuries, and direct property damage resulting from fires per year for incidents reported to local U.S. fire departments during 2006-2010. These estimated were derived from Version 5.0 of the U.S. Fire Administration’s National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS 5.0) and the National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA’s) annual fire department experience survey.
