Authenticity program

NFPA provides digital representations of its codes and standards for the convenience of its customers and members. To protect you from counterfeiting, malicious alterations or simple unauthorized copies, NFPA has created a new authenticity program to allow customers to proactively verify that their NFPA digital documents are an authorized, secure and correct copy. The most reliable way to ensure you have an authentic copy of an NFPA document is to download it only from NFPA.org or its authorized resellers.

NFPA Codes are widely used in design, construction, and enforcement. An alteration or omission of a single digit or letter in a formula can mean the difference between life and death. Protect yourself and your business. Verify!

Video: William Geller, NFPA senior project manager, discusses the reasons behind NFPA's Authenticity Program and provides a brief description of the authentication process and how to use it.
