How Technical Committee members access private information

NFPA Committee Members:  To access your private technical committee information on the document information pages, sign in at NFPA.org (upper left gray box on this page), go to your specific document page at nfpa.org/doc# (Example:  http://www.nfpa.org/72) and you will be able to view both the public and private technical committee information for your particular document(s).  Once signed-in, the private information is displayed with an asterisk after the title.  Everything you need for your committee work will be found on these pages and therefore you no longer should go to your ECommittee site. 

What you will find once signed-in on your document information page (in three main tabbed sections):

•  Document Information tab contains public information about current and prior edition information.
• Next Edition tab is dedicated to the next revision cycle information.  Along with the public information, private committee documents such as ballot circulations, informational ballots, and any additional committee information can be found on this tab.
• Technical Committee tab contains private committee lists (with phone and email addresses) along with your committee documents in PDF format. Also, in the upper right corner of this tab is where information applicable to all committee members is found such as the link for the committee member discount for NFPA's Conference & Expo.
  

Alerts can be set up on each doc info page so when a public item is posted on a page, a notification will be sent to your email address.  Notification of the posting of both public and private information will be emailed to you directly by your staff liaison.
