Technical Committees
How Technical Committee members access private information
NFPA Committee Members: To access your private technical committee information on the document information pages, sign in at NFPA.org (upper left gray box on this page), go to your specific document page at nfpa.org/doc# (Example: http://www.nfpa.org/72) and you will be able to view both the public and private technical committee information for your particular document(s). Once signed-in, the private information is displayed with an asterisk after the title. Everything you need for your committee work will be found on these pages and therefore you no longer should go to your ECommittee site.
What you will find once signed-in on your document information page (in three main tabbed sections):
Alerts can be set up on each doc info page so when a public item is posted on a page, a notification will be sent to your email address. Notification of the posting of both public and private information will be emailed to you directly by your staff liaison.
Please contact your Staff Liaison if you have any specific questions or comments regarding your pages. If you are having difficulty signing-in, please contact us via e-mail at custserv@nfpa.org or by phone at 1-800-344-3555 (press option 2 for Customer Service), Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Also, you can retrieve a forgotten password anytime from the NFPA sign-in page: http://www.nfpa.org/catalog/services/login/ForgottenPassword.asp
