Membership in the Electrical Section is open to any member who is licensed or certified to provide one of the following:
- Electrical or Fire Alarm Products or Services: Engineering, manufacturing, testing, selling, regulating, certifying, and servicing;
- Electrical or Fire Alarm Installation: Designing, constructing, installing, testing, inspecting, maintaining, and approving;
- Other: Performing electrical or fire alarm services above or teaching others to perform these services.
Membership is also open to any individual member of NFPA not meeting the above qualifications, provided the applicant satisfies the requirement of membership on any NEC code-making panel or NFAC committees as judged by the Section´s Executive Board.
Activities, programs, and procedures of the NFPA Electrical Section shall be in accordance with the Regulations Governing NFPA Sections. Membership in the section is open to any member of the Association who qualifies in accordance with the following specifications. See more.
