March 3, 2010 – The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Aviation Section is bringing many of the foremost experts in the field together for a day-long symposium on aviation fire safety. The symposium will highlight the latest information on important changes and new technologies in aviation fire safety. Hear from international experts on the latest in aircraft facilities fire protection, the fire protection challenges of composite aircraft, proposed fire safety improvements to heliports, the development and application of aircraft rescue and firefighting requirements, and real-world aircraft incident case studies.
If you have an interest in the field of aviation fire safety, this is a “must attend” event. The symposium is taking place on Sunday, June 6th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, the day before the opening of the annual NFPA Conference & Expo.
Continuing Education Units will be provided for this symposium: 0.1 CEU for each hour of learning time will be awarded. The total credits awarded for this symposium are 0.7 CEUs (7 PDHs)
