Meet Dan Doofus, star of NFPA’s series of video public service announcements (PSAs). Dan continues to learn in comedic fashion some valuable lessons about fire safety. NFPA’s educational philosophy is to teach positive fire safety messages to all ages. While the Dan Doofus videos include negative messaging, each video ends with a positive messaging . These videos are intended to convey a safety message in a light hearted entertaining way. They are not to intended for children. (Adults should play an important role in reinforcing safety messages for children.)
