" Be a Risk Watcher" Bulletin

Objective
- Students will create a bulletin board using safety messages from Risk Watch.
Core Subject Integration
- Language arts, art, health and safety
Materials
- one piece of 11" x 17" red, orange or yellow construction paper
cut into the pattern of a watch with a 4" diameter face for each student
- one piece of white
paper cut into a circle with a 4"diameter for each
student
- glue
- markers, crayons, colored pencils
- pens, pencils
Procedure
- Create safety messages
and put them in a bag or a hat. Have each student
randomly pick a safety message out of the bag or hat.
- Have each student create a picture on the circular piece of paper, illustrating
his/her safety message.
- Have students glue their safety picture to the center of the watch.
- Have students write their safety message on the band of the watch.
- Display the watches
on a bulletin board title, "Be A Risk Watcher!"
