- Students
identify 10 main ideas or safety messages that they feel are important in the
chosen Risk Watch area.

then write short paragraphs about the safety messages they have identified.
- After
they have written their messages, the students decide on the photo or series of
digital photos that would best exemplify their message.
- Props
are brought from home or found in the school to assist with portraying the specific
messages.
- Digital
photos are taken of the students or by the students to illustrate the messages
in their written paragraphs.
- The
photos are then downloaded on the computer.
- The
students then create a PowerPoint presentation with their digital photos and text
they have written.
- The
students choose the placement of the text/photos within the presentation and transitions
between slides.

PowerPoint presentations are then shared with their own class, other classes,
the whole school and their families.
