Activity
Sheets
Here are some more activities you can use to support your Risk Watch
lessons. Each activity sheet features Sparky the Fire Dog®, the official
mascot of NFPA. (Be sure to check out Sparky's Web site at www.sparky.org,
designed especially for kids, their families, and classrooms!)
- Your students can search for hidden words while learning some simple rules
about crossing the street safely.
- Your students will have fun de-coding Sparky's secret message about swimming
safety.
- Somebody mixed up Sparky's safety messages about bike
helmets! Can your students put them back in order?
New! Updated worksheet
NFPA has updated the "What's My Size?"

Watch curriculum, to reflect current child safety seat recommendations. Please
make sure the updated worksheet is used when teaching Lesson Plan One/ Motor Vehicle
Safety. For more
information on motor vehicle safety.
