Attention CESW Candidates
Due to the imminent release of the 2018 Edition of NFPA 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, we are working to transition our exam to coincide with the new version of the standard. At this time, we expect to move to a 2018-based exam effective January 1, 2018. Therefore, the last date you will be able to schedule a 2015-based exam will be December 31, 2017. After that date, there will be no more 2015 exams, to include re-tests. Please plan accordingly.
Additionally, the 2018 version of the exam (effective January 1, 2018) will change to 110 multiple choice questions, 100 of which are scored and 10 of which are being evaluated for future use as scored items. Candidates must still complete the exam in the allotted three hours. Examinees will not know which items are scored and which are not scored, as is common practice in the testing industry.
