As part of our commitment to moving forward, from now on all correspondence from the CFPS office to our certificate holders will be through e-mail. It is imperative that you keep your e-mail address updated to assist us in facilitating this endeavor. Certificate holders will continue to have the option of making payments, changing contact information or claiming Recertification Points via conventional means (fax, scan/email and US Postal Service). Applicants may also continue to submit paper applications, if desired.

2013 election results for CFPS Board of Directors
The CFPS Board of Directors election results were announced at the Annual CFPS Certificate Holders General Meeting on Monday, June 10, 2013 during NFPA’s Conference and Exposition at the McCormack Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL. There were 10 candidates vying for 4 open positions. Re-elected were Bruce Clarke and Daniel B. C. Gardiner; elected were Anthony R. Cole and Bret Martin.

The Board of Directors reorganized and re-elected to the Executive Committee, to the position of Chairman - Bruce Clarke; to the position of Vice Chairman – David R. Hague; and newly elected to the position of Secretary/Treasurer – David Ward.

Special thanks go to the following candidates in recognition of their dedication and commitment to the CFPS program as demonstrated by their desire to serve on the Board of Directors: Justin Biller, Anderson Querioz Candito, Timothy Kells, Larry Laubhan, Ted Panagiotopolous, and Theodore J. Salyers.

The CFPS Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the service, dedication and commitment of outgoing Directors, Edward Jones and Thomas Varney. Both Ed and Tom have been assets to the Board during their tenure on the Board.
