TRAVEL

NFPA has worked with local hotels near the convention center to acquire a block of rooms at discounted rates. In some instances, where a hotel is not within walking distance, a complimentary shuttle will be provided. See the “book your hotel” button below for a map of the area.

NFPA has secured rooms at a selection of Boston hotels and implemented a reservation booking site, powered by Orchid Events. Orchid Events is the only official housing agent for the NFPA Conference & Expo®, and we encourage you to book early for the best selection and rates. The group rate is available until May 9, 2022, based on availability. See more information on hotel reservations. (PDF)

You can also book your hotel by phone. Agents are available 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. MT, Monday through Friday. Toll-free (US): +1 800 989-4006; International: +1 801 214-7277.

Boston Logan is an 8-minute taxi ride from the BCEC, or you can use the MBTA’s Silver Line to and from the airport. The Silver Line is complimentary from Logan Airport and stops at the Seaport/World Trade Center Stop just across the street from the BCEC. Take the Silver Line back to the airport for only $2.75.

The BCEC is a 1-minute drive from interstate highways I-90 and I-93, and easily accessible from I-95. Driving directions are available based on your starting point in Google Maps.

To self-park ($20 and $40 for oversized vehicles), from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive, drive past the valet area, and continue straight along the side of the building. At the end of the building, make a right and go down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and you will see the entrance to the South Parking lot in front of you. Accessible parking spaces are also located in this lot, closest to the building (the same parking rates apply).

Valet parking is available during most events for $30. To access from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive, and the valet area will be immediately on your right. The BCEC accepts cash and all major credit cards.

The BCEC is steps away from the MBTA’s Silver Line World Trade Center stop, which is the same subway line that services Logan Airport. It’s also a 15-minute walk from South Station, one of Boston’s major transportation hubs. South Station provides local services via bus, subway (Red Line), and the regional Commuter Rail, plus service across the country through Amtrak and bus.

The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) has wheelchair ramps, automatic doors, passenger elevators, and accessible restrooms for those who need them.

There is an ADA area in the South Parking Lot, in the rear of the facility. From there, there is a handicap-accessible sidewalk to level Zero, where there is an entrance to the BCEC through the Southeast lobby.

There are a limited number of scooters for day use only, free of charge. An ID will be required for check out.

Weapons of any type, functional or non-functional, are strictly prohibited within the facilities, and they may not be used or displayed at scheduled events.
