Qualifications
Membership in BFSS is open to any NFPA member professionally involved with fire safety systems and equipment in the following capacity: approval, certification, design, distribution, training, installation, owners, maintenance, manufacture, or research. BFSS membership is also open to those involved in design, approval, manufacture, distribution, installation, maintenance, and certification of alarm, detection, suppression, and smoke control systems, as well as users, owners, and those responsible for system training.
