How does the presence of a mezzanine or walkway grating interfere with the sprinkler spray, activation time or pre-wetting of adjacent racks in storage? A new Phase II study from FPRF provides data to quantify the impact of elevated walkways on sprinkler performance. Questionable scenarios needing further analysis under fire conditions will be pursued as a Phase III effort.
