Information for NFPA Classroom Training attendees

Five important details
  1. Attire –We recommend wearing comfortable layered clothing, as heating and cooling conditions vary.
  2. Schedule – Registration begins at 7:15 am. Instruction starts at 8:00 am and ends between 4:30 - 5:00 pm.
  3. Food - We will be providing coffee when you arrive in the morning, a full lunch, and soda as a refreshment in the afternoon.
  4. Calculator –All classroom training requires a calculator. Solar calculators are not recommended!
  5. Confirmation – You will receive a registration confirmation. Check it for accuracy!
Other details you should know


You qualify for 7 hours or 0.7 Continuing Education Units for each day of instruction. Please verify applicability with your professional board before attending.

IACETNFPA is an Accredited Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).

Tax deductible
Continuing education expenses for courses to maintain and improve your professional skills may be tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor for applicability.

To receive a full refund for classroom training, NFPA must receive written notification of your desire to cancel your registration via fax, mail or email at least 7 business days prior to the start of the program. If notification is received in fewer than 7 business days prior to the start of the program, you may transfer your registration to a program of equal or lesser value with availability or you may transfer your registration to another person, however no refund will be made. If no notice is received, your registration fee will be forfeited. Multiple requests to transfer the same original registration may be subject to a 20% service fee.

With our preferred NFPA classroom training rates, hotels require advance reservations. Contact the hotel at the number provided as soon as possible to reserve special discounted room rate.

International Classroom Training
Spanish-language code classroom training and certification programs are available in Latin America and Spain. All courses have been adapted to satisfy individual regional needs and are taught by Latin American fire protection professionals. Cancellation policy
To receive a full refund if you cancel your registration, you must notify us in writing via fax, mail, or email at least 7 work days prior to the start of the training. The fax number and mailing address are located in the top right corner of this page. Or, submit your request online. If notification is received less than 7 work days in advance, you may transfer to a training of equal or lesser value or transfer your registration to another person. If no notice is received, your registration fee will be forfeited.
