This webinar will present the results of work by the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®) and the Fire Protection Research Foundation on the magnitude and economic cost of firefighter injuries in the United States. The overall size of the problem and identified causes from national data will be presented. An economic model will be presented that links injury type with cost. Case studies will illustrate the cost of injury at the local level.
