Standard Test Method for Determining Ignitability of Exterior Wall Assemblies Using a Radiant Heat Energy Source

This standard offers a testing method to measure and describe the ignitability characteristics of exterior wall assemblies and their potential of contributing to fire growth under controlled laboratory conditions. It is intended to be used for code and other regulatory purposes, specification and design purposes, and research and development activities.

NOTE:  Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus and NFPA’s efforts to safeguard our attendees at NFPA meetings, the March 25-26, 2020 First Draft meeting is being rescheduled as two half-day telephone/web conferences on May 20th and May 22nd (see Next Edition tab for details).
