TRAINING THAT HELPS KEEP YOU PROTECTED

Alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) have seen a steady increase in use and popularity over the past two decades, and the future looks even brighter. In response to rising incidents and concerns, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) recently released a report detailing findings that firefighters are at significant risk due to a lack of understanding of electric vehicle (EV) fires. NFPA® has helped educate roughly 250,000 first responders in these critical skill sets, but there are still nearly a million more firefighters nationwide yet to take our NTSB-recommended training. We are coordinating with organizations across the country to raise awareness of AFV hazards and provide access to content and cost-effective instruction for every professional who requires it.
