Preparing for the next 25 years in fire protection and safety

Leaders to gather at Fire Protection Research Foundation symposium

October 23, 2008 – Gregory Cade, U.S. Fire Administrator, will join leaders with a wide range of expertise in areas of fire protection and safety at a symposium hosted by the Fire Protection Research Foundation (FPRF) to focus on preparing for the next 25 years. The event will take place November 17-18 at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C.

The one-and-a-half days of meetings will include keynotes and panel sessions on the following topics:

  • Future Fire Protection: the Social and Demographic Context
  • Tomorrow’s Materials and Technologies and Fire Safety
  • Tomorrow’s Sustainability Challenges and Fire Safety
